Big Girl Room!!!

We have started the transition into Makenna's big girl room!  We've got a bed, bedspread, sheets and a few decorations.  Paint first....

OHMYGOD MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!  MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!  This was just a tad too much for us.  Ouch, it gave me a headache.  Not sure why we thought it was ok after the tester.

Whew, ok, much better.  Lime Meringue is the final choice.

Big sister

Woah, a post that's not about the kids?!?!  So strange!  We decided to get rid of the salmony orangey gross color that our house came with 3 years ago.  We researched, took walks around the neighborhood, painted test patches, and finally came up with a combination we love.

I guess I need a better photo of the front of the house.  Will have to grab that tomorrow.  Ken did a fantastic job, and did 99% of it himself.  I did a little red trim one day, but this was in May, and Kellan needed a lot of attention.  Anyways, it feels like a brand new house, and I love it more every time I drive up.

2 month doc check-up

So I guess even doctors take vacations.  Even though Kellan was 2 months over a week ago, we were just able to get into the doctor yesterday.  He's happy and healthy and perfect!  Official stats: 13lb, 5oz (75%) and 24 1/4 inches (90%).  Can you believe he's grown 4 1/2 inches in his short time here??  He has already outgrown most 3 month size jammies because he's so long.  He got 3 shots in his legs which he didn't love.  It made for some good long naps though.

Catching up, and 2 months

Man, summer is flying right by.  Is it the middle of July already??  I finished up some work events.  Ken did some recruiting and is now into camps, camps, camps.  Makenna finished Summer Camp, and Kellan got bigger.  Here are some pics from July 3, when he turned 2 months.
