Scary!

Wow. I absolutely did not plan this. I was looking for 2 photos of Mak and Kellan around the same age. Coincidentally, I took their photos on their respective 4-month birthdays in the SAME OUTFIT! SCARY!!! Wow, I'm their mother, and I'm really not sure I would be able to tell them apart in these photos.

September update

Mak still loves school. Kellan is rolling all over the house. Ken's won a few more and lost a few. Miners are 9-3 so far this season, looking good! Conference USA matches start tomorrow at UCF (Central Florida). Let's see. Me? I'm doing my thing. Working, schlepping kids, and pretending I can cook dinner (I can't wait until Ken has time to cook again, he's wayyyy better than me).
Getting ready for school in the morning.

She is getting sooo big!

4 months old! 16lb, 15oz (75%) and 25.5" (70%).
Dreaming of football!
hahaha.  Hanging out with Papa on a lazy Sunday.  UTEP hat with a little bling added!
Makenna likes to accessorize Kellan.
And she likes to sit in the baby seat.
GO COUGS!
I love being able to take photos of them together.  They really do enjoy each other.....for now!
Peek-a-boo!  Kellan started out on the far part of that play mat.  Probably 3 full rolls.
My two littles!
The UTEP kids say this is the Ken-scowl.  My brother swears it's me.
Such a sweet boy.
GO LAKERS!  Outfit from Aunt Linda!

Rolling, rolling, rolling...

Makenna gets lots of boo-boos at school.  She doesn't seem to mind them, and likes it when we clean them in the bathtub and put on a fresh Dora band-aid.

The rest of August.

The rest of August was a BLUR!  Mak has been LOVING school.  Ken's games started.  UTEP hosted a home tournament and won all 4 matches to win the tournament.  Aunt Linda and Louise came to visit.  Makenna got sick.  Ken traveled some more.  And Kellan got bigger!  :)
Cute new outfit from a UTEP volleyball family.
Just playing on the floor.

FINALLY! Kellan videos!

August

Pics from the rest of August.

So big already!  I can't believe he's rolling and holding himself up.
Sorry for the purple, pal.  Hand-me-downs from Big Sister.
Hanging out with his pal, Georgia.
Kellan and I headed on our first adventure to Washington for my cousin Kelly's wedding.  This is my cousin Karyn's daugher, Annabel, 7 months.  (Kellan almost 4 months.)
Annabel, Maddie (5 years old), and Kellan.
We rented a cute, cozy, little vacation cottage in West Seattle.  This was Kellan's favorite nap spot!
The blanket matches his beautiful eyes!

Kellan with Aunt Jody.
Aunt Jody, Kellan, Annabel, and Kev's girlfriend, Christine.
That little tongue cracks me up!
Lunch at Duke's on Alki Beach.  Kellan and Papa.
Madds and Karyn.
Blurry, but the only shot I got of Kellan at the wedding.  He started fussing at the beginning of the ceremony and ended at 9:00 when Dad ran us back to the cottage.
Me and my guy!  (Excuse the backpack/diaper bag with the dress clothes! ha.)
Ceremony site.
Kelly and Luther!
I stopped by my friend Kim's house before the airport, and my friend Annie and her girls Sophie and Charlie were there also.  Popsicles by the fish pond.
Kim and baby girl Ava buried under there!
Annie and Kellan.
When we got back from our big trip, Mak started SCHOOL the next day!!  She goes 5 days a week, from 8:30am-2:30pm.  She LOVES it!  (Scratch on the forehead from a wipeout at a UTEP BBQ.)
Papa loves being the dropper-offer on school days!  Extra time with his girl.
My littles.  I couldn't love anything or anyone any more.
