Papa and Grammie visit

On Thursday, June 4, Ken and I took Mak to the doctor for her 2 month check-up. New stats....11lbs, 10oz (75%) and 23.5" (75%). Head measurement was 39cm, which is average. She got 3 shots in her thighs - she screamed during the shots, but calmed down when we got her in the car seat. When we got home, she slept the rest of the day except to eat. Poor girl was worn out.

Dad and Liz arrived in El Paso that evening. I went to pick them up, thinking Makenna would be asleep by the time we got back. But she must have known she was supposed to stay up until we got there. Dad and Liz got a few cuddles before she crashed out. We didn't do a whole lot but pass the baby around, but the weekend did include: shopping trips, a tour of El Paso by Ken (some facts I'm sure were true!), Target for a new swing, trips to Home Depot and Lowe's for the boys, and Dad had Ken up on the roof to install new vents. Ken probably didn't mention his fear of heights.

Nap time.
The new swing that Makenna LOVES.
She loooooves her Papa.
