Christmas!

We drove out to California to spend Christmas with Ken's family. Ken and I talked about the best strategy to have Makenna in the car for 12 hours, and we decided to leave in the middle of the night. It would get her the most sleep time. It worked really well. We left home around 1:30am and drove for about 13 hours. We stopped for breakfast, lunch, and gasoline. She did great!

We went out a few days before Christmas. We finished some shopping, and spent time with Ken's family and friends. Christmas Eve was spent with the whole family. Everyone arrived by about 3:00 to hang out and visit (and watch Makenna show off her newest skills). We exchanged gifts - this year was food-themed - YUM! Ken, Makenna, and I exchanged pajamas tonight, it's going to be our new tradition. Here she is in her new jammies.
Christmas morning we woke up and SANTA CLAUS had come overnight. :)
