The day after Kellan's birthday, he had his 1 year check up. 23 lbs, 12oz (65%) and 31" (95%). He's thinned out since becoming mobile, but he's still a big kid! He checked out just fine, we got cleared for milk (still working our way into that one), but then he had to have 5 shots. OUCHIE! He screamed pretty good, got some tough-guy band-aids, and was better by the time we got to the car. We met Aunt Leslie and Uncle Dave out for breakfast, he was happy there eating applesauce and chewing on a straw, but crashed out when we got home. His arms were a little sore the rest of the day, and he FINALLY got around to opening his birthday presents!!!

| He got the hang of the paper-ripping right away. |
| He spent about 15 minutes throwing 2 balls at once and chasing them down. Screaming and squealing the whole time. He's so funny!!!! |
| Trucks!!!! We were sorely lacking in boy-toys. And....say goodbye to the binky, Doc said it's time. We're actually on Day 2 of no binky, and he's doing just fine. I think it was more a distraction than a necessity. |
| A wagon! We noticed he loves dragging things around, and Aunt Leslie scored this wagon on the clearance rack at Toys R Us. Besides the goose egg that Makenna got trying to surf in it later that night, it has been the fave. |

| Tough-guy band-aids. |
| GRRRR!!!!! |
| Sweet guy. |
| Makenna had been using her fleece winter gloves to work in the yard with Papa. They found come CARS! kid-sized gardening gloves. PERFECT! This is her strawberry plant....fingers crossed that she doesn't pick all the flowers before we get berries. |

| Mak and Aunt Leslie planting strawberries and flowers. |

| She turned the hose on us, little stinker!!! |
| Thanks for visiting, Aunt Leslie and Uncle Dave!!! |
