Makenna had her school music concert this past week. The kids have been practicing with Miss Debby the entire year, and also sent a CD home in January to practice every day! They combined several classes of 2 year olds (who have turned 3 by now), and the babies classes. It was as cute and funny as I imagined it! I'm trying to upload the video, we'll see how it turns out here soon. The theme was Red, White, and Beautiful, and we were instructed to send the kiddos in their best patriotic gear. We arrived a little late to get a seat in the Santuary.....but I'm telling you what....it might have been the best thing. We stood near the back along the outside, and we had a good view. We weren't stuck behind obnoxious parents standing the whole time trying to get their kid's attention. Makenna was GREAT! We don't really know if she saw us, but we got lots of pics and video. Makenna ADORES Miss Debby, singing and dancing.
Getting ready to go to her concert.
As the kids filed in, they each put a flower in large vases on either side of the stage.
The poor little girl to the left of Makenna was sad and upset the entire time.
The itsy bitsy spider.
This is the only time Makenna didn't want to participate, maybe it was too loud for her or something.
